EDMONTON-  The inaugural season of Teatro Live! continues and next up is the first mid-winter production in a decade and a half. Teatro is excited to bring a little joy back to the month of February, and after the shocking twists and surprises of the season-opener Deathtrap, they are now mixing things up with a serving of something a bit more familiar - a pair of short plays, one new and one not, written by resident playwright Stewart Lemoine and featuring a trio of favourite Teatro faces.

One of Lemoine’s most celebrated and oft-produced one-act comedies returns for the first time in over five years, with a brand new cast and a sparkling new companion piece. In the thoughtful, provocative, and often uproariously funny The Exquisite Hour, a seemingly well-adjusted bachelor finds his life forever altered when an alluring stranger materializes in his backyard on a summer evening to ask the question “Are you satisfied with what you know?” In Love is for Poor People, Lemoine's first-ever single-character play, a forthright and glamorous woman of the world presents a candid look back at the trajectory of her long and eventful life, despite the fact the she’s still quite young and has yet to live most of it. Two plays about time management!

The cast for The Exquisite Hour include Mat Busby (The Bad Seed) as Zachary Teale and Jenny McKillop (Fever Land) as Helen Darimont.

Love Is For Poor People features Rachel Bowron (Caribbean Muskrat) as Her.

Written and directed be Stewart Lemoine the creative team includes Set Designer Chantel Fortin; Costume Designer Rachel Bowron; Stage Manager Sang Sang Lee; Illuminator, Production Manager, and Aide-de-Camp Belinda Cornish.
